Tajikistan and Turkmenistan will discuss trade, economic, scientific and technical issues.
According to Report, citing Tajik media, in this regard, a delegation from Ashgabat headed by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Tangrykuli Atahalliyeva arrived in Dushanbe.
The parties will meet at the 12th meeting of the intergovernmental commission of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, which will take place on November 27-28 in Dushanbe.
The delegations are also expected to discuss environmental issues, including saving the Aral Sea.
The presidents of the two countries, Emomali Rahmon and Serdar Berdimuhamedov, on the sidelines of the Fifth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia in September this year, noted the need to develop trade and economic ties and intensify the activities of the intergovernmental commission of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.
