The reserve fund of the President of Tajikistan for 2024 is set at more than 563 million somoni.This point is emphasized in the law on the state budget of Tajikistan for next year, which will come into force on January 1.The volume of the reserve fund of the President of Tajikistan in the state budget will increase by another 68 million somoni. This year this figure has increased by more than 495 million somoni.The President’s reserve fund for 2021 was in the amount of 404 million somoni, for 2022 – 438.5 million somoni.The funds from this fund are used at the discretion of President Emomali Rahmon for charity, social work and in emergency situations.In particular, in recent years, republican Olympiads in the field of education and culture have been held at the expense of reserve funds.Also in 2020, additional bonuses were paid from this Fund to doctors who worked during the coronavirus pandemic.
Mandatory payments will increase in TajikistanAt the same time, bonuses were paid from the president’s reserve fund to athletes who won medals at international competitions.The allocation of scholarships for the education of citizens of Tajikistan in higher educational institutions abroad is assessed from other items of expenditure of the fund.Earlier it became known that the volume of the invoice indicator, which will be used in calculating fines and taxes in Tajikistan, will increase from the beginning of next year.
