DUSHANBE, November 27, 2023 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On November 27, the Committee for Tourism Development under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan hosted a ceremony to launch the tourism portal of Tajikistan www.traveltajikistan.tj in a new edition. This was reported by NIAT “Khovar” with reference to the Committee for Tourism Development.
The Chairman of the Committee noted that the improved National Tourism Portal is a continuation of the efforts of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan to present great tourism opportunities and attract more tourists to the country.
The portal was developed in collaboration with specialists from Somon Technology Limited Liability Company in a new form and with a new design using important information and advertising windows.
The portal covers all areas of tourism activity in Tajikistan and is a good information tool for tourists and citizens of the country. On the first page of the portal with the inscription “Tajikistan is a country of unique mountains, eternal glaciers, healing springs, clean water and ancient culture,” with the use of interesting photographs, the user feels the potential attractiveness of the country.
The portal provides complete information about tourism opportunities in Tajikistan, regions (Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, Khatlon and Sughd regions, the city of Dushanbe and regions of republican subordination) and information windows, such as “Types of tourism”, “Routes”, “Events/holidays” , “Guide for tourists” (currency, transport, hotels, visas).
Also included are separate windows for “Useful exceptions”, “Change weather conditions online”, “Change exchange rates online” and others, which is very useful for users, especially for foreign tourists.
The tourism portal of Tajikistan is prepared in 3 languages - Tajik, Russian and English, aimed at foreign and domestic travelers and adapted for smartphones and tablets.
The National Tourism Portal is a necessary step to provide foreign and domestic travelers with quality and reliable information about the tourist attractions of our country. There is the necessary information for lovers of mountains, water and springs, nature, history, architecture, religion, ecology, geography, ethnography and other areas.
